Alleged Samsung Galaxy S25 FE (SM-S731U) spotted on Geekbench database; Performance specs revealed

The South Korean tech giant Samsung has recently introduced its much-awaited Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone and now next in line is the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone. Galaxy S25 FE model is expected to make its debut by the end of this year though a clear launch timeline is not known yet.

Earlier it was rumored that this upcoming device may be powered by Exynos 2400e chipset just like its predecessor but a previous report revealed that the Galaxy S25 FE model could come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC if Samsung fails to produce enough Exynos 2400e chipsets.

Well, a recent discovery suggests a slightly different story. Samsung device with model number SM-S731U has made its appearance on the Geekbench database (via @yabhishekhd). It is assumed that this could be Galaxy S25 FE since the model number is similar to that of Galaxy S24 FE (SM-S721U).

The device has received a 2064 single-core score and a 6899 multi-core score. The database reveals that the smartphone is powered by a CPU that includes four cores clocked at 1.96GHz, three cores clocked at 2.59GHz, two cores clocked at 2.90GHz, and one core clocked at 3.21GHz.

The chipset is paired with an Xclipse 940 GPU, which hints that the chipset could be an Exynos 2400 SoC. Other than this, the listing reveals key specs like Android 16 OS and an 8GB RAM option.

Some more details related to this upcoming FE model are expected to be revealed in the coming days. Stay tuned with The Tech Outlook for more latest updates.
