It is the most crucial part of the solar system that keeps the earth warm and life persists because of it. But this can be dangerous too sometimes. Sun has a cycle of 11 years at the mid of that cycle Sun undergoes rigorous activity that causes major problems and effects, especially in today’s time when Earthly activities depend on networks and power. On the 7th of November, a sunspot exploded producing an impulsive M5 solar flare.
This explosion ionizes the environment of the earth’s outer environment. And eventually, this causes the radio waves disruption that we get from satellites. These explosions have been happening nowadays because the Sun is in the middle of its cycle completion, which is of 11 years. If we talk about the sunspots there is nothing but the cool spots of the Sun that are formed when there is a strong magnetic field and when these spots explode this all happens.
Even a blackout of power is also observed when the explosion is huge enough to disturb it. It can sometimes take days to bring things back on track due to this blackout. This time it has caused blackouts in New Zealand and Australia.
