Yuzi praises Virat Kohli on Ashwin’s youtube channel

In a recent chat show at former Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin’s Youtube channel Yuzvendra Chahal praised former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli.

He said that Virat Kohli never used his power to impose orders forcibly during the game. He always lets the players play their game in their own way and in a comfortable zone. He motivated them to have their plan for the game and execute them on the field.
Yuzvendra Chahal said, “He never tried to change me, in the sense he never told me “Yuzi bowl like this or that”…..We had two plans for every situation, but the first one was always mine, he used to tell me, “you plan how you want to approach….” and that really helped me to grow as a bowler because at the end of the day it’s you who ball on the field.”
“He always let us have the type of field we wanted and sometimes i even said to him that bhaiya you keep the field you want it to be and i will concentrate on bowling,” Yuzi concluded.
Yuzvendra Chahal was one of the key players released by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. The highest wicket taker for the franchise from IPL 2014 to IPL 2021, he collected 139 wickets during his tenure. Chahal was part of an Indian team led by Shikhar Dhawan that played a three match series against Sri Lanka in Colombo from 2016 to 2021. He has played against 11 countries in this format and has a double-digit score (between 16 and 22) against Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. During the 2019 ICC World Cup in England, he was one of India’s key bowlers. Chahal took 12 wickets at 36.83, bowling 74 overs. Following the disbanding of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja after the ICC Champions Trophy final of 2017, Chahal and Yadav have played 35 matches and taken 71 wickets, the third best Indian pair after Anil Kumble and Sachin Tendulkar.
