WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon passes away at 63; Triple H, Sean Waltman pay tribute

WWE reports that Scott Hall, a legend in professional wrestling history, passed away on Monday. At age 63, Hall was the oldest professional wrestler ever. Last month, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer broke his hip and was suffering from severe health issues. Kevin Nash, Hall’s former tag-team partner, said on Sunday that Hall was on life support.

On Monday, Hall’s life support was reportedly removed, after which tributes began to pour in for the wrestler, including from one of his closest friends, Sean Waltman, who confirmed the tragic news of his death on Twitter as he wrote, “He’s gone.”

Scott Hall’s WWE career was nothing short of legendary. Known as “The Bad Guy,” he was a founding member of the group that later became known as the New World Order. Hall was a member of the nWo with Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan, one of the most memorable groups in pro wrestling history.

Hogan shared his grief during a speech at his bar in Tampa, Florida where he said, “A short while ago, a good friend of mine passed away — Scott Hall. He took care of me when I was down and out and everyone thought Hulkamania was dead. Scott Hall resurrected me. He put me back on the map. … I love him so much I can’t even explain it”, according to ESPN.

Others in the wrestling world who paid heartfelt tribute to Hall included Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Nikki and Brie Bella.
