The city of San Antonio is allegedly in talks with Elon Musk’s Boring Company about building one of the company’s unique underground transit loops to connect Central Texas. City officials want to collaborate with the business to build a HyperLoop, a tunnel specifically furnished with Tesla Model X vehicles to transfer passengers between city destinations.
Would be cool to do a (much simplified) Hyperloop demo tunnel between maybe Austin & San Antonio?

The tunnel would help cut transportation-related emissions while also unpacking a metropolis that is typically congested. If the Boring Company wins the contest to design and build the HyperLoop in San Antonio, it will join a list of cities that includes Las Vegas, Hawthorne, Calif., and even Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Musk might possibly bring the Boring Company to Austin, Texas, where he recently relocated a Tesla centre. Reporters point out that the project has a long way to go and is far from completed.
