Facebook has just launched a page for sharing updates about COVID-19. Facebook has named this page as “Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information Center” and in this you can see all the updates.
“We’re going to be putting it at the top of everyone’s Facebook feed,” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a press call announcing the feature.
He also said that this page will be more adaptive on day to day basis. He also stated that it will contain tailored information according to location of the user.
Another important thing that Facebook has done is “Banning of sale of face masks” so that medical staff shouldn’t face any shortage. Facebook has also committed of paying hourly workers due to office closures, following Microsoft.
