Microsoft’s MSFT official account hacked, and was used to spread Musk/Tesla scam

Recently a lot of official Twitter accounts are being hacked by cybercriminals. In a recent turn of events, one of Microsoft’s MSFT official account was being hacked and was used to spread Tesla /Musk scam.

According to a Twitter user Malwarehunterteam, the tweet that was making the headline was deleted in no less than 10 minutes after it was being posted. They even shared the snapshots of the tweet that was being shared on the MSFT Accessibility account.

Malwarehunterteam also put Microsoft in question that whether they will answer the questions of how they were being pwned or they will just let it go as if nothing has happened.

 

Twitter also shared a number of users who are being used to spread this Musk/Tesla scam through their official verified channels.

Let’s see if Twitter is also going to step in to resolve this matter.
