German-based Semiconductor manufacturer SEMIKRON has been hit by a ransomware attack, company has lost 2TB data to LV Group

According to a recent report, German-based Semiconductor manufacturer SEMIKRON has been hit by a ransomware attack. Several companies have been reporting cyber attacks from all around the globe.

The company has reached out to its customers that they have stopped manufacturing so far. According to a Twitter user around 2 TB worth of data has been stolen from the company.

Data posted on the dark web

The heist has been confirmed to have been done by a professional hacking group called LV. According to a post on the dark web, LV group stated that the company is not transparent in dealing with its customers and that is why it has been hot with a cyber attacks.

The group has also shared a 10% link of the data as proof that they have their information.

We also tried to reach the company for a comment, however, no one was available for comment at the time of drafting this report.
