The OnePlus 10 Pro and 11R devices are now eligible to participate in the beta program, and receive the OxygenOS 14 beta 1 update. It should be noted that these updates are only for the Indian users of the mentioned OnePlus smartphones.

Read more about it below.

OnePlus 10 Pro and 11R – OxygenOS 14 Beta 1 Program

The OxygenOS 14 beta 1 update for the OnePlus 10 Pro and 11R devices, as previously mentioned, won’t be as stable as the stable versions of the OxygenOS custom skin, and will have both known and unknown issues in them. However, for those interested candidates, they can still join the program at their own risk and experience the latest OxygenOS 14 before its stable version is rolled out.

Some of the features that can be experienced include the upgraded Aquamorphic design along with the Aquamorphic-themed ringtones, improved system stability, launch speed of apps & smoothness in animation, app specific refresh rate support, File Dock feature, better cloud photo service from Google Photos, more safer photo-video permission management system, carbon tracking AOD, and many more.

How to apply?

Candidates can submit their application on the “Beta Program” option given on “About device” in “Settings”. Following the necessary steps, users will be able to apply for the beta program successfully. Only the eligible candidates will be receiving the update, and users must make sure that their device is updated to the latest version of the OxygenOS to become eligible.

5000 applicants will be selected for the program, each for the two devices, and the beta update will be rolled out to them in a period of 3 days if they are found eligible. Do note, at least 30% battery life and 4GB storage should be there in the device before updating.

To add, for those of you who want to roll-back, download the previous stable version of the OxygenOS from OnePlus’ server and install it locally.

OnePlus Nord 3 – October 2023 Android Security Patch

The OxygenOS 13.1.0.592 update that is being rolled out to the Nord 3 smartphones in India, brings the October 2023 Android security patch to the device. Along with the Android security patch, the update reduces power consumption of the device and improves clarity of captured photos.

The update is incremental and is being rolled out as batches. Few Nord 3 Indian users might have already received the update, and others will receive it in the coming few days.

Feedback

Users can fill up their feedback in the menu which appears on dialing “*#800#” on the Google Dialer. For Nord 3 users, they may also submit it via the feedback form given on the respective update page, or directly as comments in the update thread.
