Dominic Drakes was bought for 1.10 crore by Gujarat Titans who stood persistent on him till the end. The base price for him was 75 lakhs. RCB took an interest in him but lost to Gujarat Titans.
He took 16 wickets in 11 games, making him one of the top five wicket-takers in the CPL. His career strike rate is 159.31.
Dominic Drakes was the star player for the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots during their successful CPL 2021 campaign. In the finals, he scored 48* from 24 balls, an important total for the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. He was one of the net bowlers in the CSK camp and later replaced Sam Curran in the second half of the tournament when he was ruled out by a back injury during Ipl 2021.
