Anonymous has claimed that have accessed around 62,000 emails of the Marathon Group. They have stated that the emails were hacked as it’s a Russian Company owned by Alexander Vinokurov. Alexander Vinokurov is also the son-in-law of Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov.
Marathon Group of Russia is a Russian investment firm. The Company’s primary investments are in pharmaceutical, infrastructural, and agricultural assets. Marathon Group has clients in Russia.
Since Russia invaded Ukraine, several cyberattacks have been made on Russia since then by Anonymous. According to reports, Russia has even threatened those who are involved in the hacking attempts.
In a new revelation by anonymous, data has since been available on DDoSecrets. DDoSecrets, or Distributed Denial of Secrets, is a non-profit whistleblower site for news leaks that was launched in 2018. It is best known for the publishing of a massive collection of internal police records, known as BlueLeaks, in June 2020. It is sometimes referred to be a successor to Wikileaks.
