Russian President Vladimir Putin removes ROSCOSMOS Chief Dmitry Rogozin

According to the news agency AFP, Russian President Vladimir Putin has relieved the head of the country’s space agency, Dmitry Rogozin, of his duties, according to a decree released by the Kremlin on Friday.

Dmitry Rogozin was appointed in 2018 as the head of Roscosmos. Recently there was a fight you can say that happened between the former ROSCOMOS chief and SpaceX founder Elon Musk.

While Elon Musk was mocking the Russian president, Dmitry was quick to intervene and started defending the Russian President.

The reason behind his removal is still unknown.
