Vivo V60 Smartphone Receives the Android 16-Based OriginOS 6 Update in India
The August 2025-released Vivo V60 smartphone has now received the OriginOS 6 update based on the Android 16 operating system. In comparison to Xiaomi, by rolling out this latest update to a new mid-range smartphone, Vivo has displayed a better update frequency as well.

Vivo V60 – OriginOS 6 Update for Indian Users
As per the details revealed, the OriginOS 6 update that the Vivo V60 smartphone is now receiving has a firmware version of ‘PD2503F_EX_A_16.1.6.7.W30’, and it has a total size of 3.80GB. Among the changelogs, it has been noted that this update will make the device smartly smooth, and it will be offering the Origin design inside and out. Added card list, added global G2 rounded corners, added Vivo Sans system font, optimized title bars, and more can be expected on the Vivo V60 smartphone with the latest OriginOS 6 update.
The tipster who has shared the update also adds that while Xiaomi is still yet to roll out the HyperOS 3 beta update to its flagship Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone, by bring the Android 16-based OriginOS 6 to its V60 mid-range model, Vivo has displayed a better update frequency compared to the other.
In related news, the Vivo X200 Pro smartphone also started receiving the OriginOS 6 stable update just recently in the Indian market. Looking in to other updates, the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro smartphones were recently introduced for European customers (but with smaller battery backups when compared to their Chinese counterparts), and the design render for the Vivo X300 5G exclusive Red color variant that will be introduced in India was also shared online.
