Vivo launches the X300 and X300 Pro in Europe, but with slightly smaller batteries than the Chinese models
Vivo has also launched its flagship smartphone series, the Vivo X300, in the global markets today, specifically in Europe. The series includes the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro, both of which are now available for purchase in Europe. This also marks the first smartphone to launch with the global version of OriginOS 6.
Here is more to it.
Vivo X300 Series Specs and features
Both the vivo X300 and vivo X300 Pro feature 8T LTPO AMOLED displays with adaptive refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The X300 Pro sports a 6.78-inch (2800×1260) panel, while the X300 offers a 6.31-inch (2640×1216) display. Both use Q10 Plus light-emitting material and support the P3 colour gamut.
Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset (3nm), but the X300 Pro also gets the V3 imaging chip. The X300 Pro comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the X300 is available in 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configurations. Both use LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage standards.
Unlike the Chinese variants, the global vivo X300 Pro carries a 5,440mAh battery (6,040mAh in China), and the X300 has a 5,360mAh battery (6,510mAh in China). Also, for some reason, Vivo has chosen not to include reverse charging in the global variants. Both support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
The X300 Pro features a triple rear setup comprising a 200MP Samsung HPB primary sensor, a 50MP LYT-602 Zeiss APO telephoto lens, and a 50MP JN1 ultra-wide camera. The X300, on the other hand, includes a 200MP Samsung HPB telephoto camera, a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera. Both have a 50MP front camera and offer shooting modes such as Portrait, Night, and Professional.
Connectivity options include dual 5G SIMs, Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, NFC, and GPS with NavIC. Both models feature an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and include multiple sensors such as a gyroscope, accelerometer, and colour temperature sensor.
The X300 Pro measures 161.98×75.48×7.99mm and weighs 226g, while the X300 measures 150.57×71.92×7.95mm and weighs 190g. Both have glass backs, IP68/IP69 protection, and ship with a USB cable, protective case, and pre-applied film (charger not included).
Both smartphones run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 (Global version) and use 30% recycled glass and 20% recycled aluminium. The vivo X300 Pro is available in Dune Brown and Phantom Black, while the vivo X300 comes in Halo Pink and Phantom Black.
