Samsung Galaxy S24 Series First One UI 8 Test Build Spotted on the Official Server

The next One UI 8 custom skin based on the latest Android 16 operating system is nearing its release and ahead of it, the very first One UI 8 test build for the previous Galaxy S24 series flagships has been spotted on the brand’s official test server.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series – First One UI 8 Test Build

As mentioned, the first One UI 8 test build for the 2024-released Galaxy S24 series devices has been uploaded and spotted on the test server, and it is revealed to carry the build version of ‘S928BXXU4CYF7 / S928BOXM4CYF7 / S928BXXU4CYF7’.

Looking into previous reports, Samsung is said to release the One UI 8 custom skin on the brand’s next Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 7 flagships that are expected to debut next month in July 2025 (~ Summer 2025), and recently the One UI 8 beta 2 update was rolled out to the latest Galaxy S25 series smartphones. Notably, the Android’s Predictive Back feature has been brought to the devices with One UI 8 beta 2 update, but it is dubbed as Back Swipe Preview. Other than this, an earlier update has also revealed that Samsung’s Calendar app pages have been redesigned in One UI 8. Also, the list of eligible Samsung devices which will be getting the One UI 8 upgrade was revealed online as well.

In related news, Samsung today in the Indian market announced the Galaxy M36 5G smartphone launch. It is scheduled to take place on the 27th of June 2025, and will be unveiled via the Amazon shopping platform. It will hit the market in three colors, and Indian customers will be able to purchase it in Orange Haze, Velvet Black, and Serene Green.
