Recently, it was announced that Samsung will soon release the fourth beta update of One UI 9 for the Galaxy S26 series. As tipped earlier, after releasing the July 2026 security update for the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung has now finally released the One UI 9 Beta 4 update in India and global regions.

One UI 9 Beta 4 Update: Rolled out for Galaxy S26 Series

The update is live in the UK, Poland, Germany, Korea and India and is said to expand steadily. The update arrives with firmware version ending in ZZG4.

The above screenshot reveals that for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, this update arrives with firmware version S948BXXU4ZZG4/ S948BOXM4ZZG4/ S948BXXU4BZG4 (global/India) and S948NKSU4ZZG4/ S948NOKR4ZZG4/ S948NKSU4BZG4 (Korea). The size of the update is 1250.25MB (global/India)/ 1214.47MB (Korea) and includes the July 2026 security patch.

For Galaxy S26, the update arrives with firmware version S942USQU4ZZG4/ S942UOYN4ZZG4/ S942USQU4BZG4 and the size of this update is 1299.39MB.

As for the changelog, this update is revealed to arrive with various bug fixes:

  • Improved an issue where the clock size appears abnormal when rotating the lock screen horizontally/vertically.
  • Improved an issue where it does not operate normally when turning ON/OFF via Quick Panel or Settings while the Privacy Display routine is running.
  • Improved an issue where the navigation bar disappears under certain conditions during games.
  • Improved UI performance issues that occur when opening and closing the Quick Panel.
  • Fixed an issue where timer notification numbers are cut off, or the UI is unstable in Live Notifications.
  • Improved an issue where the “Bluetooth audio media volume” routine action does not operate normally when connecting to vehicle Bluetooth via the Routines app.

Samsung is said to unveil the official version of One UI 9 with its upcoming foldable devices on 22nd July at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
