OnePlus has started rolling out a new firmware update to its 2021 Nord 2 5G smartphones. The update brings the latest August 2023 Android security patch to the device.

OnePlus Nord 2 5G OxygenOS 13 F.47 Update
This update is only for the Nord 2 5G smartphone users in India and will update the device with the firmware version, DN2101_11.F.47. The update won’t bring any improvements or fixes to the device. but will integrate the August 2023 Android security patch, which will enhance the overall system security of the device.

The update might have reached a few of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone users in India and it will be rolled out to others in the coming few days. Users will be notified once the update is made available, or they may check for its availability on “System Updates” in “Settings”.
If by chance users come across any sort of bugs or issues, it is advised that they address it in their feedback. Feedback can be submitted on the pop-up menu that appears after dialing “*#800#”, or can be submitted on the feedback form given on the update page. They may also directly submit it as comments on the update thread.
