OnePlus launched its first N-series smartphone – the OnePlus N6 – in the Indian market on June 30th, 2026, and the brand has now started rolling out a fresh software update (OxygenOS 16.0.5.1041) for the device following its first post-launch update, which was released around 7th July 2026. Since the smartphone is currently meant for the Indian market, the latest update is also being rolled out only for users in the country.

OnePlus N6 – July 2026 Update Rolling Out in India
As per the announcement shared on the OnePlus Community, the latest software update for the OnePlus N6 is being rolled out with the firmware version ‘CPH2955_16.0.5.1041(EX01)’ and the July 2026 Android security patch.
Speaking more, the update also improves the camera flash performance along with the main camera performance and overall camera stability.
Regarding its network-related improvements, OnePlus has optimized the cellular network stability and compatibility of the device.
As far as its rollout is concerned, the update has started reaching OnePlus N6 users in the Indian market in batches and will initially be made available to a limited number of devices before being expanded to more users in the coming days. Therefore, those who have not yet received the update may have to wait for some time before it reaches their smartphones.
