OnePlus 15 User Claims Dual eSIM Support Became Active Following Latest OxygenOS 16 Update
As mentioned above, the OnePlus 15 smartphone recently received a new OxygenOS 16 software update, which brought the latest July 2026 Android security patch along with several other improvements. Following the update, a user has now posted an image claiming that dual eSIM support is active on the smartphone.
However, in the changelog, there is no mention of the dual eSIM support, which has now confused users regarding how the SIM functionality will actually work on the device.
Some users are wondering whether the OnePlus 15 will be able to support four SIM profiles, including two physical SIM cards and two eSIMs, or whether only two SIM connections can remain active at a time in different combinations.
Apart from the user who shared the image, one more OnePlus 15 user has confirmed the availability of dual eSIM support on the device at the time of writing this article. Additionally, another user in the comment section has claimed that only two SIMs can be used at a time, either through two physical SIM cards, two eSIMs, or a combination of one physical SIM and one eSIM.

It is therefore still not clear whether dual eSIM support has officially been enabled for all OnePlus 15 users or whether it is available only in certain regions or device variants. We are now waiting for OnePlus to come forward and clarify the SIM and eSIM support offered on the smartphone.
Stay tuned for more updates!
