The Chinese smartphone maker – OnePlus as part of its regular system upgrades, has now announced new OxygenOS 16 updates for the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Nord 5 handsets. While the OnePlus Nord 5 is only getting the June 2026 Android security patch, the OnePlus 15 is getting a lot more with its latest update.

OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Nord 5 Latest OxygenOS 16 Updates – Now Rolling Out
Last month, OnePlus had rolled out the OxygenOS 16.0.7.201 update for the OnePlus 15 handset with the May 2026 Android security patch in the India region. Now, almost after a month, users in the North America region are receiving their due May 2026 update with almost the same changelog, but with a new additional feature called Vo5G icon support. This update is being rolled out under the OxygenOS 16.0.7.202 version and carries the firmware version “NA: CPH2749_16.0.7.202(EX01)”.
Talking about the OnePlus Nord 5, the OxygenOS 16.0.5.1002 update is being rolled out only for users in the India region. As stated above, this update only brings the June 2026 Android security patch to enhance the system security of the device.
