Samsung recently unveiled its flagship Galaxy S25 series smartphones globally pre-installed with the One UI 7 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system. One UI 7 comes with various improvements as it includes features like new quick setting toggles, more live notifications improved AI features, and more in order to enhance the user experience.
One UI 7 in Gthe alaxy S25 series has also fixed the battery icon in the status bar (shared via @tarunvats33). This battery icon is different from what was revealed in the One UI 7 Beta 3 update.
As seen in the above image, there is a pill-shaped battery icon placed horizontally on the status bar while a bade kind of thin can also be seen inside the icon. Other than this tipster @Cartidise has also shared a video that shows that charging animation has been mostly fixed with One UI 7. The charging animation is said to be similar to what was seen with the One UI Beta 1 update.

It was earlier reported that the One UI 7 official version will be rolled out by February or March 2025. Though there are posts and reports popping up now claiming that the One UI 7 stable official version will be released on the 7th of February 2025, next month, it doesn’t mean that its rollout to the previous Galaxy S24 series devices will take place on the same day. Rather, the One UI 7 official version roll-out for older Galaxy devices will likely only gradually start from the particular day onwards.
Galaxy S24 series is yet to receive the One UI 7 Beta 4 update as confirmed by official beta moderators although the release date is not clear yet.
