The new iOS update, iOS 16.2 by Apple, adds a new feature of 5G services available to the phone’s users. However this update will not be accessible to all Apple users. Phone models that are the more older iPhones, will not be able to get access to the new feature the company is offering to its users. Apple enabled 5G in India last month in the iOS 16 Beta software for a select few iPhone users in the country on a trial basis. Only a few users with Airtel and Reliance Jio connections were capable of testing the 5G network. Users were supposed to update their device to iOS 16.2 for the 5G update to work.
Apple iPhone users can test 5G services on their phones by downloading the iOS 16.2 beta update; however, you must register for the beta testing on the Apple website. Unfortunately, even if they install the iOS 16.2 beta software update, not each iPhone user will be able to connect to 5G. To get early access to 5G, iPhone 14, iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and iPhone SE.
