CMF Phone 2 Pro Successor – Not Launching This Year
In a post shared on X, Nothing’s Co-Founder Akis Evangelidis stated, “We were working on a successor but with memory prices where they are right now, we can’t build a phone that feels like a genuine step forward at a price that makes sense for CMF. As a result, we’ve decided not to launch a new CMF phone this year.”
However, in the same post, Akis also mentioned, “That said, there’s still a lot to look forward to from @cmfbynothing for this year. We have several new products launching as well as some entirely new categories. More on that soon!”

This means that even though a new CMF phone won’t be launching this year, the brand will still be bringing new products under its CMF lineup, and may also introduce new categories as stated by him.
In related news, the brand recently teased the launch of two new products, of which one is expected to be a Nothing smartphone, while the other might be the CMF Buds Neo or Nothing Ear 3a. Adding to this, Akis has also said, “Oh and the smartphone launch season at Nothing isn’t over yet. More to come. Soon.”
Thus hinting that the brand will be launching more smartphones under its Nothing branding this year.
