CMF Phone 2 Pro with 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300 Pro SOC launched in India

CMF has launched the successor to the CMF Phone 1, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, in the Indian market. Along with the smartphone, Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has introduced three new earbuds: CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. Unlike last year, when Nothing launched the CMF Phone 1 in July, the company has changed its marketing strategy by launching the smartphone first under the CMF branding. Nothing may also launch its flagship Nothing Phone 3 in the coming months.

The device achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of 711,907.

The phone comes with 8GB RAM and offers internal storage options of 128GB or 256GB, expandable up to 2TB via microSD. It houses a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging.

It supports 4K video recording at 30FPS, 1080p at 30 or 60FPS, 120FPS slow-motion recording, and 4K time-lapse. CMF highlights features such as Truelens Engine 3.0, Ultra XDR, Auto Tone, Portrait Optimiser, Motion Photo, and Night Mode.

Further, it supports Dual Nano-SIMs with 5G NR, 4G LTE, 3G WCDMA, and 2G GSM bands. CMF claims that the phone offers Dual 5G with peak downlink speeds of 3.0 Gbps, Smart 5G that reduces network latency by 17%, rapid cellular data recovery that cuts data stalling by over 50%, gaming network boost that reduces gaming latency by 50%, and a 20% increase in 4G/5G transmission power under weak network conditions. Wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 (dual-band MU-MIMO), Bluetooth 5.3, and location services through GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, and QZSS.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro also includes a 150% Ultra Volume speaker, two high-definition microphones, a linear haptic motor for improved tactile feedback, an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, and face unlock support. The device carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance and measures 164.0mm × 78.0mm × 7.8mm, with a weight of 185g.

CMF has introduced a Universal Cover with a magnetic adapter system that supports accessories such as a wallet-stand, lanyard, and interchangeable lenses like fisheye and macro options. The phone also features auto power-saving functionality that reduces nighttime idle standby consumption by 21.2%. For gaming, it supports 120FPS high frame rate mode for BGMI and 90FPS mode for PUBG.
