Google Integrates its AI Chatbot, Bard with Google Lens Support

The California-based tech giant, Google introduced its very own AI chatbot, Bard early this year to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and following this, many other companies including Microsoft and Quora brought AI chatbots to their services as well.

Now to be on top of its competitors, Google is bringing Google Lens support to Bard. Now with the Google Lens integration, Bard will be able to work even better in providing its users with the required prompts.

Bard Receives Google Lens Support

Very recently, Google made its AI chatbot, Bard available in 40 languages including languages like Hindi, German, Spanish, Arabic, and Chinese and now the company has brought Google Lens support to Bard, expanding its functionality. Two months back, Google made Bard capable of giving image responses and now with the Google Lens integration, users will be able to search for responses with image inputs.

In the example given on the Google Keyword, we see the AI chatbot scanning a pair of sandals and giving responses and prompts based on it. Users can in turn ask the chatbot itself to pick clothes that may go with the footwear or regarding the places where the sandals can be used. In a wider use, this new feature can be used to scan images of a tourist destination for example and users will be able to ask Bard to prepare the proper tour plan for a trip to the place.

This new feature is however currently available only in English but Google has assured that the feature will soon be arriving in more languages.

Along with the Google Lens-Bard integration, Google has also brought a new feature to Google Lens which can be used to scan your skin for skin conditions or other dermatological related issues. If you find describing the issue difficult, all you’ll have to do is just take the picture of the region and scan it on Google Lens and Google will provide you with visual matches of your conditions or issues, that may direct you to the proper search result that you wanted. It is also to be noted that the feature is not a replacement for the services offered by a doctor.
