Now, a new update reveals that a Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ device has appeared on the Geekbench 6, suggesting the arrival of a fifth tablet to the series.

Here’s more about it

Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ Spotted on Geekbench

Previous reports had already suggested a Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ tablet being in the works along with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and now, the device has been spotted on the Geekbench 6 database with the model number, SM-X616B.

The update comes from the well-known tipster on the Twitter platform, Anthony(@TheGalox) who has shared a screengrab of its Geekbench 6 listing. As per what has been shared, the tablet device has scored a single-core score of 987 points and a multi-core score of 2731 points. He has also mentioned that the device is likely to arrive equipped with the brand’s own Exynos 1380 chipset and should probably be pre-installed with the Android 13 operating system. He also adds that the device has an 8GB RAM variant as well.

Comparing the multi-core score of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ with the previous FE device in Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S series, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G, it is revealed that the upcoming tablet has scored 40% higher than the previous tablet.

As mentioned above, the previous update regarding the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ came from the DCSS display consultant, Ross Young who had tipped the colour variants of the Galaxy Tab S9 series in which, he mentions that the S9 FE and S9 FE+ is likely to arrive in multiple colour options of grey, light green, light pink and silver. He also mentioned the S9, S9+ and S9 Ultra devices as well and tipped that the devices will be available in Beige and Grey colour choices.

Apart from this limited information, nothing much about the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is known and we’ll have to wait until more updates arrive. Just to add to this, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has already made its appearance on the Geekbench 6 database with a similar model number(SM-X516B) and is also expected to feature the same Exynos 1380 chipset.
