Redmi’s Wireless Earphones and the Pixel 8 Spotted on the IMDA Database

Two upcoming devices from Xiaomi and Google have now made their appearance on Singapore’s IMDA certification website.

Redmi Wireless Earphones and Pixel 8 Smartphone – IMDA Certification

The Redmi wireless earphones have appeared on the IMDA database with the model number – M2317E1 and have been listed as a low-power device with Bluetooth connectivity support. Previously, a Xiaomi-branded wireless earphone was spotted on the TDRA certification platform carrying a similar model number – M2316E1. We’ll have to wait until more updates arrive to know about these newly listed wireless earphones.

Regarding the Google smartphone that has made its way to the IMDA database, it is the vanilla Pixel 8 smartphone with the model number – GPJ41. Its listing mentions that it is a phone with 3G, 4G, and 5G network connectivity, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and WPT support. With the same model number, the device had appeared on the FCC certification platform as well, a few days back.

As mentioned, nothing about Redmi’s wireless earphones is known yet, including its moniker, but about the Pixel 8 smartphone, a lot has already been revealed.

Google Pixel 8 Expected Specifications

Google’s upcoming Pixel 8 smartphone is most likely to come equipped with the brand’s own Tensor G3 chipset and is expected to feature an FHD+ OLED display with a screen size of 6.17″. A dual rear camera unit with a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens is also expected. For selfies, an 11MP front-facing camera is also likely to be offered. The device is also probably going to pack a 4,485 mAh battery with 24W wired and 12W wireless charging support.

It has already been confirmed officially that the smartphone will debut at the beginning of next month, on the 4th of October 2023, and we have already exclusively revealed its storage options, color variants, and European price points.
