Redmi A7 Pro 4G Appears on Amazon and Flipkart Microsites; Key Details Teased Ahead of April 21 Launch
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi recently released the Redmi A7 Pro 5G in the Indian market, and it’s not even a month nd now the brand has confirmed the launch of the Redmi A7 Pro 4G via Amazon India and Flipkart.

Redmi A7 Pro 4G – Launch Date and Specs revealed
On the Flipkart and the Amazon microsite, the launch date of April 21st is now confirmed and though the branding on the banners reveals Redmi A7 Series, on the Amazon microsite, a fine print on the left-hand side confirms that the device moniker is Redmi A7 Pro 4G.
The Redmi A7 Pro smartphone is teased to feature a slim design and is claimed to be the slimmest smartphone in its segment. It is backed by a large 6000mAh battery, which is also said to be the segment’s largest battery capacity (as per brand claims). Though both the mirosites reveal that the device is equipped with an octa-core processor, aimed at handling multitasking and everyday usage efficiently, but doesn’t reveal the name of the SoC.
With a 6.9″ Display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the smartphone is claimed to offer the segment’s largest and smoothest display. Furthermore, the device will ship with Android 16 OS (Xiaomi HyperOS 3) out of the box, and Xiaomi promises 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patch updates with this smartphone.
Camera specs have not been revealed fully, but it does reveal that the device features a dual AI camera system that is described as “perfectly tuned,” with AI-backed imaging and editing features. Additional AI capabilities, such as a smart AI assistant, Circle to Search, and AI-based quick editing tools, are also going to be included.
Additionally, the smartphone includes Xiaomi’s HyperIsland feature. The marketing poster also reveals that it is going to be a rugged smartphone, though it doesn’t mention the exact certifications that the device has received.
Previously, the device was also introduced in the Indonesian market, and based on the currently revealed details, the Indian variant appears to be similar. While the microsite does not yet list the complete specifications for the Indian market, the Indonesian variant gives a fair idea of what to expect.
