Vivo Y36 5G Spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM Certification Website

Vivo launched its Y36 4G smartphone in Indonesia and the brand is soon going to have its 5G variant, the Y36 5G launched. Now ahead of being launched, the smartphone has appeared on the SIRIM certification website of Malaysia.

Vivo Y36 5G Appears on Malaysia’s SIRIM Certification

Vivo introduced its Y36 4G smartphone in the Indonesian market on the 25th of May 2023 and the device has also been listed on the brand’s official website in the Philippines. It was previously suggested from the brand’s official Indonesian website that the Y36 5G smartphone was also to launch on the 25th of May, however, only the Y36 4G made its debut.

Now the Chinese consumer makers are gearing up to have the Y36 5G smartphone launched and the device by now has already appeared on multiple certification websites. Now the upcoming device has made its way to Malaysia’s SIRIM certification website, confirming its launch in Malaysia.

The smartphone has received the SIRIM certification from Malaysia with the type approval code RGQL/09F/0523/S(23-2416) and has been listed on the platform with model number, V2248.

The smartphone has also received the TKDN, IMDA, and Bluetooth SIG certifications and was listed on the Google Play Console Listing with the same model number.

From its Google Play Console Listing, the device has been confirmed to arrive equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G chipset and will be having a RAM variant with a RAM of 6GB. It will also be running on the Android 13-based operating system and will have the Mali G57 GPU.

The listing has also revealed its front design, as per which the device will be featuring a curved edge display with a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera. Its display will be having a screen resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels along with a screen density of 440 DPI.

From its previous listing on the brand’s official Philippines website, the smartphone is to offer two color choices of Crystal Green and Mystic Black and will be supporting a 44W fast charge feature.
