The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Vivo after a long wait has finally unveiled the Y36 series in Indonesia. However, only the Vivo Y36 4G is made available.

Vivo Y36 Series Launched in Indonesia
After so many leaks and rumors, Indonesia is finally getting a new mid-range smartphone from Vivo under the Y36 series. As reported earlier by us, Vivo was to release the Y36 series devices on the 25th of this month, and the series was supposed to include the Y36 4G and the Y36 5G smartphones. However, on checking Vivo’s Indonesian website, we were only able to find the 4G variant of the smartphone.
The complete specifications of the Vivo Y36 4G smartphone were also leaked earlier and with its launch, the specifications of the device have been confirmed.
The latest Vivo Y36 4G smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and will run on the Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13. The device also offers a total RAM of 16GB (8GB inbuilt RAM and 8GB virtual RAM) and has an internal storage of 256GB which can be expanded to upto 1TB.
For its display, the device features a 6.64″ LCD Ultra O Screen with a screen resolution of 2388 × 1080 pixels and a peak brightness rate of 650 nits.
At its rear, the device has a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera and a bokeh camera of 2MP. For selfies, a 16MP front-facing camera is also offered.
The device is also backed by a 5000 mAh battery and supports a fast charge feature of 44W.

The Vivo Y36 4G is priced at Rp3.399.000 and the pre-order of the smartphone has already begun. The smartphone will be available for pre-orders till the 31st of May and the open sale is to begin after this period. The newly launched device can be pre-ordered at Vivo’s official website, Akulaku and Shopee Mall.
Now regarding the Vivo Y36 5G, the smartphone is to be made available soon, as the device has already been listed on the Google Play Console Listing and very recently it had also received the Bluetooth SIG certification. Vivo’s Y36 series launch page had also mentioned both the devices to have its launch on the same day. Taking all these into consideration, it won’t take long for Vivo to have the 5G variant of the smartphone launched.
