Upcoming Vivo Y36 4G Appears on Geekbench: Expected to Launch Soon

Vivo’s upcoming Y series smartphone, the Vivo Y36 4G has appeared on Geekbench, revealing some of its specifications. The smartphone was also spotted on many certification platforms earlier and the launch of the device can be expected soon.

Vivo Y36 4G Appears on Geekbench

The Vivo Y36 4G smartphone has made its appearance on the Geekbench listing with a model number of V2247. MySmartPrice has spotted the smartphone first on Geekbench platform and the device has scored a single core score of 410 points and a multi-core score of 1343 points.

Along with its Geekbench listing, some of the specs of the smartphone have also been revealed. The listing confirms that the device will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with its primary cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and its base cores clocked at 1.9 GHz.

Its Geekbench listing also reveals that it will have a motherboard with the codename “Bengal” and is to run on the Android 13-based operating system. The device will also have a RAM variant with 8GB of RAM and will also be equipped with the Adreno 610 GPU.

In a previous report, the device will feature an IPS LCD display panel with a screen size of 6.8 inches and is to have a primary camera of 50MP. The report also suggests that the device will be backed by a 5000 mAh battery with a fast charger support of 44W.

For those who didn’t know, Vivo’s Y36 smartphone was previously spotted on many certification websites including Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, Indonesia’s TKDN certification, and also on the EEC certification website.

Even if Vivo hasn’t come up with an official announcement regarding the launch date, all these certifications the smartphone has received point to an imminent launch. With more updates that can be expected soon, we’ll be able to confirm more about the smartphone.
