Tipster Admits that the renders of the upcoming Nothing Phone 2a were incorrect

Recently the Nothing Phone(2a) renders were surfacing on the internet that was leaked by the smartprix in collaboration with @OnLeaks. Now the tipster has suggested that the renders leaked by him were incorrect. As per the Smartprix, the renders that it earlier revealed were of a Nothing smartphone that never came out and neither it’s render surfaced on the internet.

The report mentions that the source falsely claimed that the render belonged to the Nothing Phone(2a). Someone pointed out on X that the render of the alleged Nothing Phone(2a) was seen in the promo videos of the Nothing Phone(1). The report also found out that the phone renders look different in front of the teaser Nothing was uploaded on its social media platforms.

This is not the sole render of the phone that surfaced on the internet. Another alleged render of the Nothing Phone(2a) was surfacing on the internet at the same time shows the rear camera setup arranged horizontally. The horizontally arranged camera setup does get a special emphasis because of one more reason and that is the tagline of Nothing Phone(2a). The tagline reads “See the world through fresh eyes”.

I'd be pretty skeptical of this alleged last minute redesign, for two reasons. Number one, it's not a standard Foxconn-sourced, CAD-based @onleaks leak, so his usual accuracy is not applicable.
