Samsung Galaxy M15 and M55 are both launching in India on April 8th

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy M55 5G in the Brazilian market and M15 5G in the Levant. It was recently teased to launch both smartphones in the Indian market. Both smartphones are being marketed as “Must Be a Monster” and looking at the specs it is an upgrade from the Exynos chips. Samsung has now confirmed both smartphones will be launching on 8th April in India and the microsite page is already live with the specs.

Samsung Galaxy M15 5G specs revealed on Amazon India

As per the microsite, it features a 6.45″ (16.39cm) FHD+ sAMOLED with up to 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 800 nits. Under the hood, it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset paired with Mali-G57 MC2. In the battery section, there is an upgrade also from its predecessor, you will get a 6,000 mAh battery and 25W fast charging support. It was launched in Levant with OneUI 6.0 and probably the Indian variant will also feature the same.

You will get 4 gen OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates, this I feel is a game changer. The rear camera comes with the same old triple-camera setup 50MP(Main, Wide) + 5MP(Ultrawide) + 2MP(Macro) with a 13MP selfie shooter. Apart from this, the pricing and other specs like sensors are still under wrap. But since it has already been launched in another market, we can expect similar specs for this smartphone.

I feel Samsung should bring in some new designs like every other player does with their smartphones. After some time, the design would rather feel wearying.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G specs revealed on Amazon India

It was recently revealed that Galaxy M55 5G will be coming to India with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. It will feature a 6.67″(16.95cm) FHD+ sAMOLED display with a 120Hz of refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Samsung is also marketing this smartphone as a Monster, and in the marketing material shared online, it is revealed to have ultra-slim bezels. However, I am not satisfied with calling it ultra slim bezels only because the chin is very thick. In the camera section, we can see a triple rear setup of 8MP (UW) + 50MP OIS (Wide-Angle) + 2MP (Macro) and is equipped with a mega 50MP selfie shooter. For fast charging, it will come equipped with a 45W fast charging support.

So far only this much has been revealed via the Amazon listing, but we have something more to share about these smartphones.

Pricing

Recently a tipster revealed the pricing and storage options of both smartphones. And if we go by that leak, then we can expect, 8GB+128GB: ₹26,999, 8GB+256GB: ₹29,999, and 12GB+256GB: ₹32,999 for the Galaxy M55 5G. While Galaxy M15 5G is tipped to come with 4GB+128GB: ₹13,499 6GB+128GB: ₹14,999
