Rumour: Apple iPhone 15 Pro possible dummy images shows much awaited Type C port

The Cupertino-based company is reportedly working on a new series of iPhones named the iPhone 15 series. Apple has remained tight-lipped about this new iteration though rumours and leaks that have made their way out of Apple many times.

A new leak seems to have come out about the possible dummy of the iPhone 15 Pro. Tipster named ICE UNIVERSE has shared the image of a phone that can be a dummy iPhone 15 Pro. The image gives the side, lower and rear views of the phone.

Why can’t it be any other iPhone series phone dummy?

One of the reasons to consider it a dummy phone of the iPhone 15 series is the USB Type-C port shown in the image. This is what has been arising in terms of rumours and leaks that iPhone 15 series phones will drop their lightning port thus accepting the much-awaited Type C port. The rest of the things looked quite similar to previous Pro models of Apple like a triple camera setup on the rear side, volume and power button on one side, speaker at the lower side alongside the charging port. The phone shown in the image is in the blue colour thus not making it any unique colour of Apple iPhone.

Tipster sharing the image of the phone wrote “This is said to be the real iPhone 15 Pro (unconfirmed)”.

Expected launch timeline

A report citing multiple resources by 9to5Mac has recently said that Apple is reported to hold the launch event for iPhone 15 on September 13. Pre-orders for the phone can commence from September 15 and purchases can start a week later from September 22.

Another report from The Information has said that iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro can encounter delays due to quality control issues related to the new low injection pressure over-moulding (LIPO) technology display manufactured by LG.
