Redmi K70 & K70 Pro sales exceed 2.8 million units in 3 months; new 12GB/512GB variant also announced

The smartphone brand Redmi officially unveiled it’s latest Redmi K70 series last year in it’s home country China. The series included three smartphones- Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70e. Well the series received a great response in the country as it’s sales volume exceeded 6,00,000 units within 5 minutes of it’s first sale, 1 million units in 14 days and 2 million units in 60 days.

Today Redmi has officially revealed on Weibo that the sales of Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro has exceeded 2.8 million in just 3 months.

The company has also announced that Redmi K70 series will now be discounted at 100 Yuan which means that the users can get Redmi K70, K70 Pro or K70e model at 100 Yuan discount in China. Not only this the brand has also mentioned that Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro models will now be getting a new storage variant- 12GB/512GB. Previously the 12GB RAM variant was only paired with 256GB storage but now the users can get it with 512GB storage.

Redmi K70 12GB/512GB variant is priced at 2,799 Yuan while Redmi K70 Pro 12GB/512GB variant is priced at 3,699 Yuan. But after the discount, the devices will be available for 2,699 Yuan and 3,599 Yuan respectively.
