Redmi K70 series launched in China at a starting price of RMB 1999

Redmi has finally launched the much awaited smartphone series Redmi K70 series. It includes Redmi K70, K70 Pro, and Redmi K70E. Its top-spec model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor while the K70E model is powered by MediaTek 8300 Ultra SoC.

Specifications of Redmi K70e smartphone

Redmi K70e smartphone comes with a 6.67 inch wide 1.5K OLED 12-bit display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits of peak brightness with a tiny punch hole cutout to house the selfie camera. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset paired with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

It runs Android 14 based HyperOS custom skin. In the camera section, it features a 64 MP primary camera with OIS support and LED flash, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2 MP macro sensor. The front side of the smartphone sports a 16 MP selfie camera.

It is backed by a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. Additionally, it is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, and Dolby Atmos tuned stereo speakers.

Both of the smartphones feature a 6.67-inch wide 2K OLED 12-bit TCL CSOT C8 display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 3840 Hz PWM dimming, 4000 nits of peak brightness, and a punch hole cutout.

The Pro model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with Adreno GPU while the vanilla model is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Smartphones run Android 14 based Hyper OS custom skin.

The Pro model of the series features a 50 MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor with OIS support, a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50 MP 2x portrait lens. For selfies, it comes with a 16 MP selfie camera.

Additionally, the handsets are equipped with in display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor for haptics, and an IR blaster.

Let’s get to know about the price of the handsets one by one.

Redmi K70 Pro 12GB+256GB model is priced at RMB 3,299(approx 39,500), RMB 3,599 (around Rs 43,100) for the 16GB + 256GB, RMB 3899 (approx Rs 45,900) for the 16GB + 512GB model, and RMB 4399 (around Rs 51,750) for the 24GB + 1TB version.

As far as the price of Redmi K70 is concerned it’s 12GB+256GB variant is priced at RMB 2499(around Rs 29,900), 16GB + 256GB variant is priced at RMB 2699(around Rs 32,300), 16GB + 512GB is priced at RMB 2999(approx Rs 35,900) and 16GB + 1TB model is priced at RMB 3399(around Rs 40,000).

Now coming on to the Redmi K70E is priced at RMB 1999(around Rs 23,600) for 12GB + 256GB variant, 12GB+512GB variant is priced at RMB 2199(approx 25,900) while 16GB + 1TB variant is priced at RMB 2599(Rs 30,600).

Along with these models, Redmi has also launched a special Resmi K70 Pro Lamborghini edition, that comes in a unique design language.
