Realme Teases the Global Launch of the Upcoming GT 5 Smartphone: Can be Expected Soon

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Realme, is all set to unveil its upcoming GT 5 smartphone in the Chinese market this month, and ahead of its debut, the global launch of the smartphone has been officially teased.

Realme via its global Twitter/X handle has shared this exciting announcement personifying the soon-to-be-unveiled smartphone as the “King of Phone Performance”.

The teaser image shared along with the post also points to the 5th anniversary of the brand with the mentioning, “Time to Leap Up”. This could only mean that the smartphone might soon also be having its launch in the global market as well.

A lot about the smartphone has been shared by the brand itself after its launch was confirmed, and very recently it was revealed that the smartphone will be featuring the industry’s best three-frequency GPS positioning system.

As far as its specs are concerned, the smartphone is to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset along with a 1.5K Pro XDR high dynamic display supporting a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is also confirmed to sport a triple rear camera setup and at its rear, will have a rectangular-shaped LED lighting system. The device will also be having two battery variants with 5240 mAh and 4600 mAh(expected) battery backups which will support 150W and 240W fast charge features, respectively.

In the Chinese market, Realme’s GT 5 smartphone will have its launch on the 28th of August, at 2 PM local time, and as mentioned, the global launch can be expected soon after that.
