OnePlus Ace 3/OnePlus 12R Tipped to Debut this Month in China; Global Launch Likely Next Month

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, OnePlus, is already set to debut its flagship 12 device tomorrow in China, and reports of the OnePlus Ace 3 and the rebranded OnePlus 12R are popping out. The launch dates for the smartphones have also been tipped.

OnePlus Ace 3 & Rebranded OnePlus 12R – Launch Dates Tipped

The previous OnePlus 11R launched in the global market was the repackaged version of the OnePlus Ace 2 device, while the OnePlus Ace 2 remained a China exclusive. The same is also expected to be the case for the OnePlus Ace 3 and OnePlus 12R devices too. The upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 will likely be only for China, and its rebranded version, the OnePlus 12R, will be made available in the global market.

A tipster(@yabhiskhekhd) on the Twitter/X platform has now shared that within two weeks after the official release of the OnePlus 12 smartphone, the Ace 3 device is expected to have its launch in the Chinese market, on the 17th of December 2023. As other reports suggested earlier, the global debut of the OnePlus 12 series, comprising the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones, is said to be on the 23rd of January, next month, in India.

Speaking about some other updates, the Ace 3 and 12R smartphones are now claimed to bear the model numbers – “CPH2609” and “PJE1110”, respectively. OnePlus’ 12R device bearing the model number “CPH2609” has also received the IMDA certification from Singapore. It is also reported to have been CQC certified, which pointed to a 100W wired fast charging capability. To note, the model number – “CPH2585” and “CPH2611” are also speculated to be for the OnePlus 12R smartphone itself.
