OnePlus 12 Smartphone Launch Date Changed to 5th December, A Day Later

OnePlus is going to conduct its 10th-anniversary ceremony next month, and the latest flagship 12 device was said to be unveiled on the same day. For some reason, the launch has been delayed, and the upcoming smartphone will only be launched a day later.

The much-awaited flagship OnePlus 12 device was said to have its debut on the 4th of December 2023, next month, on the day of the brand’s 10th anniversary event. The launch date has now been changed and is rescheduled to take place on the 5th of December, a day later than the previous said launch date, at 2:30 PM local time. On the 4th, the brand will only be having the anniversary fireside chat session with OnePlus Co-Founder and CEO – Pete Lau.

The pre-orders for the upcoming device had already started on JD.com, and now the smartphone has been listed on the shopping website of OPPO with pre-orders open from the OPPO platform as well, along with other exciting benefits. Just like on JD.com, the smartphone can be booked for just 1 yuan.

Some of the benefits include a Bilibili video membership season card, 24 months of interest-free EMI, a maximum 1,000 yuan trade-in offer, and 50% off for two-year screen protection. Pete Lau’s autograph, “Sail to the Future” customized gift box for 19.9 yuan, 180 days exchange, early delivery, and 100 points for every 1 yuan spent are other exclusive benefits. Apart from these, there are a lot of other offers too.

Previously, the color choices for the OnePlus 12 smartphone were revealed, and now the brand has shared the device in three different colors – White, Green, and Black.

About the specifications, it has been confirmed that the OnePlus 12 device would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and will be featuring a BOE X1 OLED LTPO display screen. The display will have a 2K resolution and a 2600 nits brightness rate. The device would also be housing a Sony LYT 808 main camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera, and likely a 48MP ultrawide lens. A 5400 mAh battery backup is expected, and the device will support a 100W fast charging feature.
