OnePlus 12 – Revealed Display Features

This update comes from the tipster Digital Chat Station, who has not only revealed the display features but has also shared a few of the hands-on images of the smartphone, as well as some test images, via a Weibo post.

As per what has been revealed by the tipster, the upcoming OnePlus 12 device will be featuring an 8T LTPO display panel with a 6.82″ screen size, 3168 x 1440 pixels resolution(2K), 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM+3 EM Pulse/1 EM Pulse dimming, 510 PPI pixel density, and blue diamond arrangement.

The full screen color consistency of the device has also been mentioned as good, and the large-angle color cast problem of displays has been improved significantly, with a 0.35 average JNCD value. OPPO’s first generation Display P1 display chip, high-precision pixel-level calibration algorithm, and Display Mate A+ rating, are all further points that make it better.

Notable improvements have also been made to the brightness rate of the display, making it very comfortable to use in sunlight. The device recorded the industry’s highest peak brightness of 4500 nits and measured a 1722 nits global excitation brightness. The channel load and sunlight highlighting algorithm together also improve the brightness and reduce power consumption.

The tipster finally adds that the 2K display of the OnePlus 12 flagship is the top in the industry as of now, with a great look and feel, along with exclusive eye protection.
