Nothing to make big announcement about Phone 2a on Feb 13th

The Nothing Phone 2a has been a topic of several discussions lately. Recent leaked renders have confused whether it will have a horizontal camera setup or a vertical one, but later it was confirmed that the leaked renders were wrong. However, we have something new to share with our The Tech Outlook readers.

Nothing has posted a video on the Indian shopping website Flipkart, and at the end of the video, there is a message that states “Why Phone 2a? 13th Feb 15:30 IST”. Apart from this, not much has been revealed via this teaser on Flipkart.

Nothing is scheduled to launch its Neckband Pro and Buds under its sub-brand CMF by Nothing. These are scheduled for a reveal on Feb 15th.

If we talk about some of the expected specs, then it’s believed that it might come equipped with a MediaTek 7200 SoC with two storage variants namely 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB. It is rumored that this smartphone is going to fall under a budget smartphone series, and it is speculated that it may ditch the wireless charging option but may come with a 45W wired charging. Earlier, it was also rumored that the company may ditch its iconic glyph interface, but that theory was debunked by tipster Evan Blass earlier.

Now, there’s only a day left for the company to make some official announcement regarding the specs of Nothing Phone 2a. It is also speculated that we may also hear an official launch date on Feb 13th as well.
