iQOO Neo 8 Pro to feature 50MP main camera, details revealed

The iQOO Neo 8 series of smartphones is all set to debut on May 23 in China. As usual, the brand is now gradually revealing the key specifications of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro. Today, it released a poster to confirm the primary camera of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro.

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, as the brand has revealed in the poster below. It will feature a Sony IMX866VCS camera sensor, which is also available on the Vivo X90 series of photography-focused flagship phones. Hence, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro is expected to offer a top-notch photography experience even in dim light conditions.

The company is yet to confirm the details of the auxiliary cameras on the iQOO Neo 8 Pro. The iQOO Neo 8 is also expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary snapper, but it may be equipped with a different camera sensor. Shown below are some of the camera samples of the Neo 8 Pro.

Other reports have revealed that the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset and 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The device is expected to ship with up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The smartphone may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. For security, it will feature an under-display fingerprint sensor. It will come preloaded with Android 13 OS, which will be overlaid with OriginOS 3.0.
