HMD Global is gearing up to launch the first batch of smartphones in the market. One of the four smartphones that the company will launch in the upcoming days has now been spotted on UAE’s TDRA certification website. This HMD Plus smartphone appeared with model number TA-1595 and equipment registration no. ER30119/24. The listing doesn’t confirm anything as such though the listing confirms the global launch. Recently two of the four models were spotted on Geekbench with the name HMD Global Legend and Global Legend Pro.
As per the Geekbench listing the HMD Global Legend will come with 4GB RAM while Legend Pro will come with 8GB RAM. Both of the devices will come with Android 14 out of the box. The rest of the information on the handsets is still under the wrap though the launch is not far, so we will soon hear about it. HMD Global is not only working on smartphones, as a recent report revealed that it has a total of 642 design patents covering mobile phones, chargers, other accessories, etc.
Back in January tipster Evan Blass had also shared the code name of the upcoming smartphones. These were Pulse, Legend, Pulse+, Legend Plus, Pulse Pro, and Legend Pro. So as now these smartphones have started appearing on certification websites, we can expect some sort of official announcement from HMD soon.
