[Exclusive] Vivo S17, S17 Pro, S17e model numbers, key specifications, launch timeframe leaked
In December 2022, Vivo unveiled the Vivo S16e, Vivo S16, and Vivo S16 Pro in China. The Vivo V27 Pro, which was released in global markets including India this year, is a rebranded version of the Vivo S16 Pro. The tipster Paras Guglani gave us exclusive information about the upcoming Vivo S17 series, which will hit the Chinese market in the next few months. Here is a look at the model numbers, key specifications, and launch timeframe of the S17 lineup.
Vivo S17 lineup model numbers
The Vivo S17 lineup will consist of three smartphones: the Vivo S17, the Vivo S17 Pro, and the Vivo S17e. These devices will have model numbers, such as V2283A, V2284A, and V2285A, respectively. Some of these handsets are likely to be released as part of the Vivo V29 series in markets outside of China.
Vivo S17 series key specifications
Unfortunately, the detailed specifications of the Vivo S17, S17 Pro, and S17e are not available yet. However, our source has revealed the series’ key specifications.
The Vivo S17 trio will feature Super AMOLED panels with curved edges, as well as colour changing rear panels. The primary camera on the back will be equipped with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The Vivo S17 series will be available with 8 GB / 12 GB RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB storage. The S17 Pro will be the only device in the lineup with 16GB of RAM. The series will also support virtual RAM.
Vivo S17 launch timeframe
The Vivo S17 series will be released in the third quarter of this year in China. Vivo will release the Vivo Pad 2, Vivo X Fold 2, and Vivo X Flip in April, ahead of the S17 lineup, and its sub-brand iQOO is expected to launch the iQOO Neo 8 series in May.
