Tesla Becomes No. 1 Car Sold in Switzerland, Elon Musk replies with Yay Switzerland!!

In Q2 2021, the Tesla Model 3 became the best-selling electric vehicle in Switzerland. Despite just offering one car model, the company became the country’s best-selling brand, with a 19 percent market share.

Without a doubt, the Tesla Model 3 is the most popular electric vehicle on the planet. Despite the fact that there are local producers of electric vehicles in Europe, Europeans choose the Californian company. According to EU-EVs, in Q2 2021, the Model 3 became the best-selling electric vehicle in various European nations, including Switzerland.

Despite the fact that Tesla Model 3 sales were only 204 units in April and May, the car was the best-selling automobile in all three months of the quarter. Of course, due to the time it takes to ship vehicles from the United States and China, registrations in Europe for the first two months of each quarter are generally low. Nonetheless, the quarter’s third month is always full with delightful surprises.

In June, 1,296 Model 3s were registered in Switzerland, making it the country’s most popular electric vehicle. Tesla’s sales in June alone outpaced those of each of its competitors for the whole three months of the quarter, demonstrating the company’s dominance.

Thus, Tesla sold 1,500 Model 3s in Switzerland in Q2 2021, far above the sales of any other electric vehicle in the country. Volkswagen ID.3 is in second place with 843 registrations. With 468 sales, its younger sibling ID.4 came in third. With 422 units, the Fiat 500E is in fourth position. With 411 registrations, the Renault Zoe rounds out the top five.

Tesla became the best-selling brand in Switzerland in Q2 2021, selling only one automobile model and capturing 19 percent of the market share. Volkswagen is in second place, selling five electric vehicles and accounting for 17.8% of the market. Renault rounds out the top three with a 7.9% market share.
