MediaTek recently launched the mid-range mobile chipset Dimensity 6100+ and now it has launched Dimensity 7030(Dimensity 1050) that comes with seamless 5G sub-6GHz & mmWave Connectivity, Industry-Leading Dual 5G SIM Technologies, Exclusive MediaTek FAR mmWave technology, and support for super-fast displays.

Its octa-core processor has two cores CPU Arm Cortex-A78 clocked at 2.5GHz and Arm Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.0GHz. This chipset provides speed up to 5.5Gbps which is 53% faster than competitive platforms. It is equipped with MediaTek’s exclusive FAR mmWave technology to provide effective and reliable connections. MediaTek Dimensity 7030 supports Full HD+ displays with a super fast 144Hz refresh rate.
This chipset supports the latest global HDR video content standards which include HDR10+ Adaptive, HLG, and Dolby Vision. Smartphone makers that incorporate this chipset can build a main camera of up to 108MP and can use MediaTek APU 550 to apply class-leading AI noise reduction techniques for superior low-light photos.
It provides comprehensive connectivity options such as Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, and GPS for reliable connections. Storage options include UFS 3.1, and UFS 2.1 and memory options include LPDDR5, and LPDDR4X. Its TSMC N6 production is light on power extending battery life.
