The memorial day of the United States of America has arrived, the day is celebrated on the last day of the month May, in which the sacrifice of the US soldiers is decorated. The day is celebrated for more than one and a half centuries. The 2022 ceremony will honor the war veterans.
This year it will be a three – day long holiday across the States. Although for many years, the Union States of the North and the Confederate States of the South. The southern states celebrated it on May 10 or June 3. But with the WW2 brought a huge change, now May 30 is set for the Memorial Day.
The day is all flooded with public ceremonies, speeches and parades. It has become like just another festival for the Americans. Over the years the traditions will continue to be held, like the laying of wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery followed by parades and speeches.
