Now you can buy Tesla Merchandise with Dogecoin

Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk announced that Tesla merchandise is buyable with Dogecoin on January 14.

Elon Musk has already shown his enthusiasm for meme- based currencies especially Dogecoin. After Musk’s remark, there was a surge of 12 percent  in the value of the world’s 11th most valuable meme- based currency, Dogecoin. Tesla had temporarily started accepting payments in Bitcoin last year. However, Musk later announced that the company would no longer accept it as payment. One of his other ventures, SpaceX has also already started accepting payment in Dogecoin.

On December 14, Musk had announced that his company Tesla would shortly accept Dogecoin for some of its items

Tesla’s website states that some of Tesla’s merchandise can be purchased with Dogecoin. These items include an electric Cyberquad bike for Kids, Giga Texas Belt Buckle , Cyberwhistle , S3XY Mug.

The Giga Texas Belt Buckle including a Tesla Lone Star logo at its top will cost around 835 doge or $161 while the Cyberquad for Kids can be purchased for 12,020 doge or $2320 .The Cyberwhistle inspired by Cybetruck will cost you around  300 doge or $58 as per the prices displayed on Tesla’s website. However, Cyberquad which is also inspired by Cybertruck model is out of stock currently.
