New AI Capabilities for Slackbot
The new AI features available include:
- Web Search: Slackbot can search the web in real-time and show relevant information directly in conversations.
- Native charts: For automatically creating and sharing data visualisations/charts inside Slack.
- Personalised Welcome Mat: For a customised experience tailored to how you work.
- Upload files to Salesforce: Slack users can now directly attach and upload documents to Salesforce records from Slack.
- Read Salesforce Reports: Access and read Salesforce reports natively within Slack conversations.
The above teaser video also shows Slackbot showing real-time web information, scheduling tasks, attaching documents to Salesforce records, and creating data visualisations, all inside Slack conversations. These enhancements position Slackbot as a more capable, context-aware AI teammate.
The initial rollout of these features has already started.
