Airtel, back in July 2025, ran a promotional offer with Perplexity, offering its mobile (prepaid and postpaid), WiFi, and DTH users one year of free access to the Perplexity Pro subscription. However, in December 2025, users began receiving emails asking them to add a valid credit card on file with Perplexity to continue using the Pro plan. At the time the offer was announced, there was no mention that a credit card would be required by Perplexity to offer the free one-year Perplexity Pro Subscription to Airtel customers.

Now, the support page hosted on Perplexity website, which details the Airtel Perplexity offer, has been quietly updated, revealing that the promotional offer officially ended on January 16th, 2026. Notably, when the offer was first announced in July 2025, there was no mention of a specific end date.

Those who had already activated the subscription and managed to add their card details successfully will be able to continue with the free Perplexity Pro plan until their free subscription runs out. And since you have the credit card on file and you don’t feel like renewing it, it would be wise to cancel the auto-renewal from the Perplexity app.

In recent news, Airtel also announced its collaboration with Adobe, offering one year of a free Adobe Express Premium subscription worth ₹4,000 to Airtel mobile (prepaid and postpaid), WiFi, and DTH users. I also subscribed to it, and honestly, it is one of the best offers available. Though the terms and conditions section for this offer clearly mentions that the redemption window will end on January 28th, 2027.
